John McDougall
President/CEO
John McDougall is the founder of McDougall Interactive and author of a college text book on digital marketing.
John’s writing and digital marketing seminars have been featured in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Forbes, HubSpot and more.
He has been helping companies like Arrow Electronics, MIT, Phillips Medical, BankFive, Pierce Atwood Law Firm and hundreds of others improve their SEO/website marketing for over two decades.
Having recent client success stories such as bank5connect.com that has been voted the 2nd best online only bank and being asked to write for the National Law Review, John has successfully refined his client focus and thought leadership.
Originally a media planner (1994), at McDougall Advertising the sixth largest advertising agency in Massachusetts, he was asked to head the Interactive Division during the dot-com boom (1995).
With a background in music and the arts, he enjoys the blending of art and advertising. Having provided Internet services full-time since 1995, John was among the first to implement search engine optimization.
John’s award winning book, Web Marketing On All Cylinders was a college text book at two colleges. He is also on several digital advisory boards for schools such as Brandeis and North Shore Community College, where he is a popular speaker.
His new book Content Marketing and SEO for Law Firms is receiving his praise since launching in January of 2020.
John and his agency are elite Google partners and have been invited; all expenses paid, to Google headquarters in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
John Maher

John focuses on content development through podcasting and video, as well as being a lead strategy and technical executive for SEO clients.
John got his Search Engine Optimization training from nationally recognized Internet marketer Bruce Clay, and has spoken on SEO at Salem State University and the North Shore Business Forum. With a background in radio, he set up a podcasting studio at McDougall Interactive, and helps clients generate content through audio podcasts and video. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and is also an accomplished musician, playing piano, saxophone, guitar, and the occasional Irish whistle.
Justin Gross
Director of Paid Search
Justin is a paid search and conversion optimization expert with over a decade of experience helping companies grow. Justin has been personally certified, and recertified every year for Google Adwords since 2007. He has also been trained in the NYC Adwords office by top agency teams. He has previously held certifications with Microsoft Advertising as well as Google Analytics, and is an avid student of the craft of digital marketing. He keeps up by participating in the latest mastermind groups and attends a range of important industry conferences to stay on top of the latest tactics.
Justin has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Toyota, and Honda and has been a featured speaker for brands like Comcast as well as Servpro.
In his spare time currently Justin is working on writing his first book and developing a training course for aspiring PPC experts. When Justin isn’t setting the paid search / PPC world on fire, you might catch him salsa dancing.
